Long Neck Mahogany Soprano #20 – SOLD

Description

Long Neck Soprano
[ #20 ]

A tenor uke scale neck on a soprano uke body for those who love that classic soprano ukulele shape but find the soprano fret spacing a bit too tight. Because the neck meets the body at the 15th fret it allows easy access to the top end of the fretboard. This ukulele gives you the benefits of tenor fret spacing on a soprano body - in my mind the best of both worlds...

And although the body is small, the sound it produces is BIG! Not like a soprano and not like a tenor but with a surprising and exciting tone all of its own.

This one is all mahogany with a rosewood fingerboard and walnut bridge. The sound it delivers is huge with a long sustain (for a ukulele). It has 17 frets, and the neck meets the body at the 15th fret. Gotoh UPT tuners and d'Addario strings.

It measures roughly 62cm (length), 16cm (widest width) and 5cm (depth).

Features

  • Huge sound!
  • Plenty of frets
  • Would make a good squash racket
