I really love performing and having a good time with an audience. Since stopping touring with the Ukulele Orchestra, I’ve found I’ve still got the bug and nowadays travel around the UK and abroad doing shows and giving ukulele workshops to those who like that sort of thing. If you’d like me to come along to your event do drop me a line – I’d love to do a performance / give a workshop / show you my ukuleles / talk about my time with the Ukulele Orchestra / chat about building ukuleles / drink tea / eat biscuits.

SOLO PERFORMANCES
I give solo performances at music festivals and also for smaller ukulele clubs and groups. In my performances I try to have fun with an audience, with plenty of laughs and a selection of old and new tunes. And of course my nose flute always makes an appearance (non-negotiable).
I really enjoy these events and will bring a few of my ukuleles along with to play some tunes on. The Wonkylele and sopranino always feature, as well as the soprano and tenor. I often take the opportunity to introduce a few unusual instruments to an unsuspecting audience. The nose flute, of course, as well as the can-zoo (you guessed it, a kazoo in a can) and sometimes the musical saw.
If you’d like me to come and give a performance at your event I’d be really pleased to hear from you. Drop me a line and we can discuss options!
WORKSHOPS
I offer ukulele and performance workshops for all abilities – I really enjoy passing on any performance tips I can to budding new players. I can teach straightforward workshops, or take part in more informal question and answer sessions. I can also give talks about my ukulele journey with the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain, the history of the ukulele, or about making ukuleles.

WILL GROVE-WHITE & THE OTHERS
In 2008, I wrote and recorded my own album, Will Grove-White & The Others, with the help of some ace musicians. The album went on to be bought by Universal Production Music. In 2012, I released small fry, the difficult second album featuring only miniature instruments – pocket trumpets, hot fountain pens, matchboxes and sopranino ukuleles all combined to create the biggest small sound in town. This was bought by Warner/Chappell. With those musicians, we went on to do a toe-tapping run of eccentric live shows (especially the one at the National Portrait Gallery where the audience joined us for a massed kazoo rendition of Kylie Minogue’s Can’t Get You Out of My Head). These albums led to me writing heaps of Production Music for Universal and Warner/Chappell which you can find out about HERE.
