Inside Out Ukuleles are very unusual instruments.

All the detail that is normally hidden inside a ukulele is mounted on the outside of the instrument, as if the body has been turned completely inside out! The beautiful kerf, bracing and bridge plate are now on full display. Please watch the video below to get the full picture.

A real talking point instrument and a must for any eccentric ukulele collectors out there. But more than this it sounds absolutely terrific. Because the kerf lining is on the outside, the top has that little bit more room to vibrate, creating a louder than usual instrument...

This is the only one I've made so far but I've had a lot of interest and expect to make many more. This model has a yew front, mahogany back, oak neck and walnut fingerboard. I'd like to make some in all matching wood in future.

It can be made in any size, to any scale, and doing a wonky version is also possible so just ask!
