Sopranino

Description

A bonsai ukulele, just a mouthful that won’t fill you up. I’ve been a tiny ukulele ambassador since I was first given one in the early 2000’s by Hans Türing, a German uke enthusiast. I went on to feature micro-sized ukes in the Ukulele Orchestra show for many years. My sopranino ukuleles bring together everything I love about ukuleles and tiny things: a loud, punchy ukulele which you can fit in your pocket.

They uke Aquila iUke strings tuned either to an octave above a baritone ukulele (dGBE) or, if you like it really high, an octave above a regular ukulele (gCEA).

My sopranino ukuleles measure roughly 43cm (length), 13cm (widest width) and 5cm (depth).

Below are some pictures of my sopraninos in two different woods - mahogany and cedar - and a video clip of me playing one.

Rough price for a sopranino ukulele is approx. £850
