A larger ukulele (but not too large) with a rounder sound and more sustain than a soprano, plus more room on the fretboard for the sausage-fingered plucker. I can also make these in thin body form which pack a real punch, sound-wise. Just like the original Martin tenors, the neck meets the body at the 12th fret.
