Mahogany Soprano Wonkylele #54 – SOLD

Description

Soprano Wonkylele
[ 54 ]

This is a beautiful and fantastic sounding Wonkylele. The mahogany is reclaimed from a friend whose grandparents worked in the diplomatic service in Nicaragua. On their return they packed their belongings into mahogany boxes to make furniture from when they returned. This is made from a spare piece. With Gotoh UPT tuners and Aquila strings.

The ebony fretboard and bridge are offcuts from an incredible picture-frame maker who's made frames for the royal family and the National Gallery.

And contrary to what you might think, my wonkyleles fit comfortably into a regular soprano case (see pics on THIS page).

It measures roughly 54cm (length), 16cm (widest width) and 5cm (depth).

[The Wonkylele design is my own, copyright Will Grove-White 2024]
