Mahogany Tenor #75 – Sold

Description

Tenor
[ 75 ]

This is probably the ultimate classic tenor ukulele - all antique mahogany, with real ebony fretboard and bridge. No ornamentation - the beautiful wood just speaks for itself.

The mahogany was brought back from Nicaragua in the 1960s by the grandparents of a good friend of mine and the ebony sections are offcuts from a local frame maker friend. The classic Martin style headstock is fitted with Gotoh UPT tuners.

It's got a wonderful sound that will only get richer and more mellow with time...

Measures roughly 65 x 21 x 7cm.

Features

  • Perfectly simple
  • All antique woods
