This is essentially a soprano ukulele with a huge tenor body and the sound it makes is immense! Although the body is thin, at only about 4cm, the large spruce top makes it ring out around the room. It has a mellower tone than a regular soprano, with more depth. Because the neck joins the body at the 8th fret this is for those who don't travel up to the dusty end of the fretboard very often. Mahogany back, sides and neck, with a walnut fretboard and spruce top, this is possibly the loudest ukulele I've ever heard. Der Jung geared tuners and Aquila strings.
This is something of a prototype and measures roughly 56cm (length), 22cm (widest width) and 4cm (depth).
