Another fantastic sounding concert-bodied yew Wonkylele with a tenor scale length - this one is the brother of #67. It may look peculiar but it's made to my usual high specifications and sounds great. The askew angle of the neck actually makes it easier to play because the player's wrist is in a more natural position.
This wonderfully patterned yew is reclaimed from a storm at a botanical garden in East Sussex. The neck is reclaimed sycamore. Ebony bridge and fingerboard. Fitted with fantastic Gotoh UPT tuners and tenor-scale baritone strings with a high G.
And contrary to what you might think, my wonkyleles fit comfortably into regular cases (see pics on THIS page).
This was a commission and measures roughly 58cm (length), 18cm (widest width) and 5.5cm (depth).
